Every time you press a direction key, arrow left or arrow right, the patrol boat changes its speed by one step. If the boat runs at full speed to the left, then it requires first two steps to brake it to a halt, then three steps to make it run at full speed right. You can either press the right arrow (in this case) 5 times or you can hold down the key, and make the keyboard repeat function do the job. You may accelerate the keyboard by selecting a shorter delay before the keyboard starts to repeat. Use Keyboard in the Control Panel to change the delay and repeat speed.
